![]() Want to unlock the hidden potential of your business contacts? Calc{list} is much more than a contact management system or a to-do list program. It is a totally new tool that leverages the contacts in your organization. Contact management software is nothing more than a glorified telephone book. Surely you want more from your contacts than a computerized version of the Yellow Pages, which was invented in 1883! Calc{list} changes the value proposition of your contacts by delivering office automation, communication and analytics for contacts that already exist in your organization. Calc{list} is a list of people (your contacts) with a defined subject such as Company Newsletter, Customers or Employees. A calc{list} is a list of contacts that calculate. How do contacts calculate? A list can contain not only contacts but also other calc{list}s. Confused? Here is an example: Simply drag and drop the {Customers} and {Employees} lists into the {Company Newsletter} list. Then re-calculate the {Company Newsletter} list and it will contain both customers and employees, the sum of the two lists. Next we can create an {Opt Out} list and add it to the {Company Newsletter} list. Mark the {Opt Out} list as "Do Not Include". Re-calculate the {Company Newsletter} list and it will contain both customers and employees but NOT the people in the {Opt Out} list. Congratulations, you have just calculated your first calc{list}. Imagine using a spreadsheet to calculate lists of contacts, your formula would be: Company Newsletter = (Customers + Employees) - Opt Out Calc{list}s can be shared with anyone in your organization. The {Customers} list is created and maintained by the sales department. The {Employees} list is maintained by human resources. The {Company Newsletter} list is maintained by marketing. When sales adds a new customer or the company hires a new employee the {Company Newsletter} list is immediately updated! This is passive automation at work. By maintaining lists which were important to them the sales and human resources departments passively updated the {Company Newsletter} list.
This is just a small example of the power of calc{list} with passive automation. Imagine the possibilities of how calc{list} will work for you! Calc{list} does for contacts what spreadsheets did for numbers... |
